Weddings - civil weddings at lerags house |
||
|
Lerags House is licensed for civil weddings, which means, no more registrars office for those not wanting a religous ceremony. This is a relatively new law in Scotland allowing the registrar to come to us, making Lerags House the perfect venue for small "house party" weddings where the most important issue of a special time is that you are sharing the occassion with those that are closest to you
The
ceremony venue can be either on the stone courtyard by the 100
year old magnolia tree or if the heavens open, in the serene
atmosphere of our sitting room. The decision can usually wait until
the 11th hour as we are in contact with the registrar and keep her
informed of weather variants in our wee glen. |

There is a lot to organise and details to take care of, made all the more easy by Bella and Charlies' local knowledge and use of the best providers in the area. We understand that there is a great deal of trust placed in us to create the perfect day and from our experience we have shown that bride and groom can just relax. We have a great selection of professionals waiting to help make your day special, from photographer to florist. Bella can steer you in the right direction to get just what you want with minimal fuss. We offer a five course set menu wedding breakfast agreed by you and the dining room is set with white linen and the house full of fresh blooms and candles.

Forms will need to be returned 8 weeks prior to the wedding date.
